An uptrend in the Indian polyethylene market continues after the New Year break. Chem-Courier’s sources are reporting higher demand. PE prices have remained mostly unrevised since December, with HDPE grades being the only exception having climbed $10—20/t month on month. LDPE of Saudi Arabian origin costs $920/t CFR India, while LLDPE of US one at $720/t CFR India.
The Indian polypropylene market also looks optimistic. Demand for the material is reportedly getting better, which has already resulted in a $10—20/t month-on-month increase in PP quotes. Saudi Arabian PP raffia is available at $970—980/t CFR India.
