   The Kazakhstani oil and gas company KazMunayGas and Russian TATNEFT have signed the agreement on the basic terms of interaction on the Butadiene project during the official groundbreaking ceremony for a new tyre plant held on 5 April in Saran. The facility is expected to make 186,000 t of butadiene rubbers and 170,000 t of isobutane per year from Tengizchevroil’s butane. The finished product will be supplied to KamaTyresKZ, a tyre manufacturing plant in Saran, Karaganda Oblast, Kazakhstan, and exported to Europe, Russia, China, Turkey and other countries. The companies plan to implement the project for butadiene rubbers production in Atyrau Oblast until 2025.
